Carow Packaging is a website built for a company that sells packaging solutions for essential oils, the beauty industry as well as the health and wellness industry. I was heavily involved in all aspects of this project, from goals, to copy and design concepts to programming and launching. Once a foundation was established, I worked closely with a copywriter to help inspire and focus his copy concept that complemented the design ideas I had. I wanted to focus on the products, but I also wanted to complement those products with water ripples, since their largest market was dropper bottles. I also wanted to take a cue from some of their clients who market products as fresh, calming and revitalizing. The results were a solution that did not go through any substantial revisions, the live website is 95% of what I presented to the client. As a result of this project, we established a long-term relationship with Carow. We are now constantly evaluating the website and the data we collect, to make decisions on user experience issues as well as lead generation through advertising. This project reinforced to me and the client that design thinking is an integral part of almost every project.
