Lakepoint Industries is a conceptual business based on an existing concept created for a large manufacturer of home and industrial appliance parts. The goal for the rebrand was to create a new, modern look for the brand that has been around for more than 100 years. The concept presented here focuses on their business visually while getting to the heart of what makes them great, which is their wide range of parts for both new and existing appliances. I started off with a main message as well as an area to talk about the company. Following this, I included statistics that set them apart in their industry and then moved right into examples with case studies. From there I added the industries and key product areas followed by general news. They are in a competitive space and have invested in attracting top talent to their industry. Advertising to job seekers as well as customers was important to them. At the bottom of the homepage I incorporated their existing clients as well as multiple paths users can take to navigate the website. In the B2B space, companies often have multiple goals for their online presence - i.e., attract customers, distributers, as well as job seekers, and all of them navigate a website slightly differently. The solution I presented here bridges that gap inside a budget that requires efficiency. Beyond this homepage concept, I worked with my team at Pepper Group to implement the full website concept. I assisted with creating an easy to navigate sitemap as well as individual wireframes, and also designed interior pages that required out-of-the-box solutions. The end result was a website delivered in record time, that the client was excited to refocus the company around.
